about
The remastered version of the tune that kicks off our DIY second demo cassette The Fight In The Cave Of The Moon Butchers (1996). This song would later be re-recorded by Joe Ng for the Singles Club No. 3 (BigO/1996), and was played by legendary BBC jock John Peel on his radio show.
Like many of our songs from that time, the title was nicked off an actual paperback that we found at a used books store at Paradiz Centre, a block away from TNT Studio where we did the recording.
lyrics
Spacemen Over Malaysia
We came down a long time ago
We left something you should know
It’s vital that you don’t expose
our assistance are at your disposal
We’re spacemen
Space programmes
If you can tune in, please listen
Well come on in, please come on in
We came to say hello
Back in our station control
We watched our scanners take a stroll
We’d microwave all your info
More modern than you’ll ever know
We came down a long time ago
We left something you should know
Was vital that you didn’t expose
Now your existence are at our disposal
